Yen Tu Pagoda is a special temple located on the top of Yen Tu mountain in Quang Ninh province and Bac Giang province. Legend has it that since ancient times, Yen Tu mountain is considered as the Realm of Tien Buddha – the place where people cultivate and attain Buddhahood. Master Yen Ky Sinh from more than 2000 years ago came to this mountain to gather medicinal plants, practice the elixir of immortality, cure diseases to save people, cultivate and attain enlightenment. When he died, he turned into a stone statue, so the mountain has its name today. is “Yen Tu”.
